🚫 BANNED FROM FACEBOOK FOR BEING TOO REAL

— A MegaFish Chronicle

💀 The Message That Changed Nothing

It came at 3:47 PM on a Monday.

Jimmy Presnell — We suspended your account.
180 days left to appeal or we'll permanently disable your account.
Reason: "Doesn't follow our Community Standards on fraud and deception."

I stared at it. Read it again. Laughed.

Fraud and deception.

I'm 56 years old. I live in Jacksonville with my partner Chuck, my cat Sassy, and a 4GB RAM laptop that's seen more late nights than a truck stop diner.

I run a blog called The MegaFish Chronicle at peoplesstack.com — 77 posts, 1.5k weekly visitors, 33 countries reached.

I've never scammed anyone in my life. I've never wanted to.

But Facebook's algorithm looked at what I was doing and said:

"This doesn't look like normal behavior. This looks like a problem."

They weren't wrong about the first part.

They were very wrong about the second.

🔥 What I Was Actually Doing

Let me be clear about what "fraud and deception" looks like to a 56-year-old man with a blog:

Activity Facebook's Interpretation Reality
Publishing 77 blog posts in 3 days "Bot behavior" Hyperfocus on a mission
Sharing links to my site "Spam" Sharing my work
Growing traffic 71% weekly "Fake engagement" People actually reading
Using bold, erotic language "Deceptive content" Being myself
Writing about dating, psychology, and demons "Fraud" Writing about life

The algorithm doesn't understand enthusiasm. It only understands patterns.

And my pattern looked like a threat.

Because it was a threat.

Not to Facebook's users. To Facebook's control.

🧠 What Facebook Doesn't Understand

There's a kind of person that algorithms can't classify.

Someone who:

  • Builds things from their bedroom
  • Writes 77 posts because they can't stop
  • Treats the internet like a conversation, not a broadcast
  • Has an alter ego named Cuntessa and a cat who shut down 31 countries
  • Quotes their grandfather in blog posts about dating and demons

Facebook's system saw me and thought:

"This doesn't fit. Flag it."

And they did.

But here's the thing:

I don't fit. And that's not a bug. That's the whole point.

🎭 The Truth About "Build in Public"

I've been building in public.

77 blog posts. 84 git commits. 1.5k weekly visitors. 33 countries.

That's not spam. That's momentum. That's reality.

Facebook's algorithm can't handle reality.

Reality is messy. Reality is bold. Reality is a 56-year-old man in Jacksonville writing about demonic hypersexual abominations and falling in love.

Reality doesn't fit in a content moderation box.

And that's why they suspended me.

Not because I did anything wrong.

Because I did something real.

🔥 What I Lose (And What I Gain)

❌ What I Lose

  • Facebook reach — I had 500 followers. Not exactly a kingdom.
  • A platform — One less place to share my work.
  • The illusion of belonging — Facebook is a town I was never really from.

✅ What I Gain

  • Freedom — No more posting to please their algorithm.
  • Focus — More time for MegaFish, less time for their feed.
  • Clarity — I know who my real audience is (and where to find them).
  • Ownership — My content lives on my site. Not theirs.
  • A story — This is the best marketing I've ever gotten.

They didn't ban me. They freed me.

💬 What My Grandaddy Would Say

"I walked into this bar and they said we're gonna throw you out, and I said why, and they said you don't follow our rules, and I said what rules, and they said the rules we made up, and I said I don't follow rules I didn't agree to, and they said who are you, and I said Jim, and they said hey everybody Jim's here, and the crowd went wild."
— Grandaddy Presnell

Grandaddy always knew.

You don't need permission to be who you are.

You just need to show up.

And the crowd will find you.

💀 So What Now?

What I'm Doing Why
Keep building MegaFish is mine. Not theirs.
Keep writing 77 posts was just the beginning.
Keep reaching 33 countries is just the start.
Keep being real That's the only thing that matters.
Never apologize For being who I am. For building what I build.

Facebook can suspend my account.

They can't suspend my mind.

They can't suspend Cuntessa. They can't suspend Grandaddy. They can't suspend the Demonic Hypersexual Abomination Facility.

They can't suspend a single whirling transient node of thought careening through this cosmic vapor of invention.

🎯 Final Word

I got banned from Facebook for being too real.

And I'm okay with that.

Because I'm not building on their land. I'm building on mine.

My content is at peoplesstack.com.

My voice is in every post.

My audience is in 33 countries.

And my empire? It's just getting started.

You can find more money, better looks, more status — but you'll never find another me.

And Facebook just made sure everyone knows it.

🐟💙🔥

"My mind is a glow with whirling transient nodes of thought careening through a cosmic vapor of invention — and no algorithm can stop it."
